We are researching a famous person from the Revolutionary War and finding out why they are associated with it. They are to find out who the person was and why we are talking about them.
We took the test on the last group of states. In late April we will be taking the test over all 50 states. Time to start reviewing.
After break we will be looking at the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution and the government.
We will be reviewing area and perimeter of quadrilaterals and triangles. On Friday we worked on finding the volume of irregular shapes of three dimensional figures. We will be doing some more of that this week also.
Goals start over for AM. The goal will be 7 scans of 80 percent or better. Don't wait until the last minute. Doing about 5 problems a day will get your goal.
There will be a spelling unit and test this week.
Everyone will get a new AR goal this week. We had an excellent third quarter. 25 of 27 reached their goals. Many were way beyond. Congratulations to Alison who had over 100 points for the quarter.
On Friday we began three new novels:
The Cricket in Times Square
From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler
Each group will be working on comprehension and reading skills.
