Students are enjoying our Daily 4 literacy stations (at their desks). These stations include: Read to Self, Word Work, Listen to Reading, and Work on Writing.
In Math, we are working on a multiplication unit. We will concentrate on factors and multiples as we wrap up the chapter. Students should practice multiplication facts daily!

Phonics Skill:
In Grammar, we are learning about Common and Proper Nouns. Nouns name a person, place, or thing. Proper nouns name a specific person, place, or thing such as: Michael, United States, or Washington Monument.
In writing, we are using the 6 Traits of Writing: Ideas, Organization, Word Choice, Voice, Sentence Fluency, and Conventions. Students are learning how to write a beginning that grabs the reader's attention. We will begin looking at what makes a good ending as well.
In Indiana History, we learned about Indiana's landforms, water features, plants, and animals. Students also learned about Indiana's three unique regions.
In Science, we are learning about how geological forces change the shape of the land suddenly and over time. We are focusing on weathering, erosion, and deposition.
