This week we will be working comparing lengths. We will find the difference between two lengths to see what the difference is and which one is longer. We will also begin measuring using centimeters.
If you have flashcards at home to practice, I would encourage you to practice them each night or to get on the computer and find games, www.abcya.com is a great sight.
Each day your child does math morning work. This will come home on Thursday and they will have a paper for a grade on Friday over the skills we worked on all week with morning work. Please make sure your child understands the concepts on that paper for their assessment on Friday.
We will be learning about our community and the different traditions, holidays, and celebrations that we have. We will also work on calendars and the importance of them. We will be making a May calendar with all the important events coming up!
